Summary CSI Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role will be integral in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Data Scientist will focus on creating insights and analytics using SQL/Snowflake and Power BI, contributing to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for our proprietary Sales CRM, as well as workflow and process analytics, pharmacy analytics, and patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and a passion for healthcare. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. Comply with Company's Core Values and Core Competencies Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Utilize SQL and Snowflake to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize data and communicate key insights to stakeholders. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within data to support strategic decision- making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and track KPIs related to Sales CRM, workflow processes, pharmacy operations, and patient outcomes. Implement automated reporting and alert systems to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights. Assist in the design and development of data-driven features for CSI Pharmacy's proprietary Sales CRM application. Work closely with software developers and product teams to integrate analytics and machine learning models into the application. Analyze operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize business processes and improve overall operational efficiency. Analyze pharmacy operations data to improve medication dispensing accuracy, inventory management, and patient satisfaction. Utilize patient outcomes data to identify factors that contribute to better healthcare results and recommend strategies for improvement. Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict sales trends, patient outcomes, and operational efficiencies. Continuously monitor model performance and update models as necessary to ensure accuracy and relevance. Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Operations, IT, and Clinical teams, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data governance and quality control. Document data processes, workflows, and methodologies to maintain transparency and reproducibility. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science, analytics, and healthcare. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. Experience with programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Required in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or pharmacy industry.
