Prioritizing people, food security, and innovation, we invest in our team members and the communities where we live, love and work.As a Driver at HFA, you will use company trucks to travel between customer accounts and safely delivery and pick up perishable products including invoice adjustments or credits.

*Must maintain a valid Driver's License, PUC Medical Certificate, and clean driving record.
**Starting at 4am **THE OPPORTUNITY** Handle product, verify count, invoicing, and resolve discrepancies.
* Safely practice driving, operation of delivery trucks, and appropriate methods for lifting and loading product, supplies and equipment.
* Deliver perishable food products to customer accounts.
* Utilize lift gates, two wheeled trucks and/or pallet jacks.
* Participate in periodic and annual staff training in food safety, employee safety and operational programs.
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report preventative maintenance.
* Comply with all applicable OSHA regulations and commercial driving requirements as per DOT.
* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
