Demand / Supply Planning Manager (1-2 Year Contract)

We are currently working with a 100+ year-old Consumer Packaged Goods organization that is about to embark upon a substantial supply chain planning system transformation. To help ensure on-going success, they are looking for a Demand / Supply Planning Manager to backfill the team members going onto the project. This is a contract position that could last up to 23 months. Position Description: Responsible for demand planning, inventory planning and capacity planning across both internal- and external manufacturing sites. Drive improvements in areas such as forecast accuracy, fill rates and on-time deliveries (OTD) Lead the demand- and supply consensus processes as part of the overall monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying and recommending solutions to potential supply chain issues. Background Required: Highly energetic individual with at least 5 years of Demand- and Supply Planning experience. Experience with high-volume retail / consumer goods supply chains. Effective use of supply chain planning applications and MS Excel. Proven track record of success in similar role.
