Reviewing and understanding business requirements and deeply analyzing, slicing and dicing data to determine and document patterns and anomalies with the ability to assess whether the provided data meets the business requirementsMust be comfortable working independently and proactively to coordinate with our internal business teams (customers) and internal data providers to seek clarification and resolution when data provided does not meet the business requirements Understanding of derivatives and/or traded products dataExperience as a data analystStrong analytical, problem-solving, and oral/written communication skillsComfortable partnering with business, technology teams and other stakeholders to achieve goalsAbility to communicate findings to stakeholders and tell a story about the data from a business lensIntermediate SQL skills and experienceIntermediate experience working with Microsoft products like Excel, PowerPoint, etcAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentCuriosity and thoughtfulness. Digging into the data to find nuggets of information independently and without prompting is a key element for success in this positionBanking and/or financial services experienceHave past experience working with derivativesOracle database experienceSQL Server database experienceAccounting experienceWorking with teams across multiple geographiesFinancial acumenExperience with Axiom Regulatory Reporting solutions
