The Graduate School of Education is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator to provide project and administrative support for fundraising and donor stewardship activities. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (partially onsite and offsite work) in which the employee may be expected to work 2-3 days onsite per week, subject to operational need.

Our community includes over 60 faculty, 400 students, 250 staff, 14,000 alumni and countless individuals from the local and global communities that we work with and impact.  POSITION SUMMARY The Development Coordinator provides essential administrative support, handling confidential and diverse tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the GSE's development activities. Playing a pivotal role in advancing the GSE's fundraising and stewardship efforts, this position helps GSE donors and leadership volunteers enjoy exceptionally positive and fulfilling philanthropic and volunteer experiences. Key responsibilities include coordinating volunteer leadership activities and events, supporting donor stewardship processes, assisting gift officer activities, facilitating administrative operations, and supporting digital communications production. In this role, you will: Support GSE Advisory Council member activities and communications.
Coordinate donor relations and stewardship activities, including processing gift acknowledgements and thank you letters as assigned.
Use university marketing tools and databases to distribute External Relations communications and enhance GSE community engagement.
Provide project and administrative support to GSE gift officers, including donor and prospective donor communications, portfolio updates, data entry, and reimbursements.
Assist in the planning and implementation of GSE Advisory Council events and assist the Event Planning team on GSE External Relations-led events.
Organize event digital media and video production for donor cultivation and stewardship.
Develop and source content for distribution to alumni, donors, and volunteers via email, newsletters, and other formats.
Work with University Services, Facilities, and other campus offices and new vendors.
Support budget tracking and processing reimbursements, invoices, and purchase orders for the External Relations team

Minimum education and experience requirements include: Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of database systems
Ability to work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment in interactions with university administrators, faculty, staff, and the university community.
Outstanding communication skills and exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check prior to working at Stanford University.

The expected pay range for this position is $35.10 to $40.86 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
