Ministry Area Purpose:
The People and Strategy team exists to deliver value-added people strategies and innovative solutions with excellence for God's Kingdom.
Role:
To support developmental programs, initiatives, and the hiring process through administrative organization, event planning, and leadership-centered innovation.
Responsibilities:
• Support the apprentice and intern programs by:
o Executing onboarding and offboarding plans for the apprentice program
o Organizing apprentice projects and bridging communication from project supervisors to apprentices
o Organizing the event schedule for each apprentice semester
o Setting up and leading apprentice seminars including scheduling speakers, coordinating meals, and managing room reservations
o Organizing and managing scheduling of events and speakers for intensives and ensuring communication between everyone involved
o Purchasing supplies and materials for the apprentice and internship programs
o Assisting in coaching and building relationships with apprentices and interns
• Support staff recruiting and onboarding by:
o Assisting in scheduling and executing the staff recruiting and hiring process
o Assisting in refining and managing the staff recruiting and onboarding processes
o Organizing onboarding events for new hires
• Support staff development by:
o Assisting in building a learning culture and creating developmental resources for staff
• Attend events or meetings outside of typical work hours
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
