The Director, Data & Analytics, is a business-minded individual responsible for understanding the data needs across the enterprise, building data capabilities, products, and services, and ensuring these data solutions are consumed by the business. This role provides business insight, improves business decision-making while aligning with data regulation and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Formulate and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's overall business strategy.
Collaborate with business users to identify use cases where data can deliver business outcomes.
Engage, collaborate, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Collect demand for data-driven products and services.
Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
Stay informed about data privacy regulations and identify data-related risks.
Oversee the design and implementation of data management frameworks, including data architecture and data integration.
Evaluate, implement, and manage data infrastructure and technologies.
Implement and manage processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
Oversee the selection and implementation of analytics and business intelligence tools.
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing data team.
Job Requirements
University degree in computer science, data science, analytics, or AI.
10+ years of experience in team leadership roles delivering corporate-grade technical solutions.
Practical experience implementing data products and services.
Strong understanding of the data lifecycle from capture and storage to analytics.
Proven track record influencing stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
