Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Director, Federal Products to join our team!
In this role you will get to drive the development of our product strategy, product roadmaps, and organizational product management processes and standards, an area quickly growing within Parsons.
What You'll Be Doing:Standards & Frameworks: Develop organizational standards and frameworks that ensure consistency in product development, product management, delivery, and innovation.Product Development and Lifecycle Management Processes: Ensure consistent use of processes with product owners and assist with execution.Product Portfolio Analysis: Develop analysis framework and implement with product owners to assess their product offering, performance, pricing, and growth strategy.Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success to enable data-driven decision-making.Market Understanding: Build an understanding of both Government and commercial target market sectors, identifying unique challenges, trends, and opportunities in each space.Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, finance, and other teams to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet any relevant standards and customer needs.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience, or 14 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree, in product management or product leadership roles, with software product experience required.Proven experience in both Government and commercial sectors, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges.Familiarity with basic accounting principles and standards, including how they apply to product development and commercialization.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment; demonstrated experience working with teams in engineering, R&D, marketing, finance, sales, etc., using creative approaches to problem solving.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scalable processes within a growing organization.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience in product development for Government contracts or regulated industries.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and product cost management.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/None

Salary Range:$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
