The OpportunityReporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Systems & Processes, you will play a strategic leadership role to strategize and implement a forward-thinking API platform vision, collaborating across teams to deliver a platform solution to achieve CSL's business goals. You will be critical in the use of modern application patterns and frameworks to facilitate the ability to allow application to application transactional workflows. You will develop a continuously improving integration platform that provides the infrastructure to deliver critical application production workloads. With a focus on user journey and experience impact, ensure quality, security and efficiency of integration points. Lead with an agile mindset to achieve overall platform goals. Also ensure overall operational resiliency, achieving high level of Service level agreement and recoverability for integration points.The RolePlatform Strategy, Execution and Support – Maintain overall accountability for the strategy through support of the integration platform. Collaborating with other engineering teams across the enterprise, ensure requirements are achieved for transactional workflowsDrive innovation, best practices and standardized patterns as it relates to the integration space. Promote and education others across the enterprise to ensure high level of consistency and reusability is achievedPromote simplification and operational resiliency for the integration space. Ensure SLAs are maintained along with a high velocity of impact for business critical workloadsBe the main product owner for the integration platform. Establish clarity of roadmap and feature maturity plansTalent Development: Hire, develop and retain critical talent, modernization our delivery and development methodologies to align to a platform delivery mindset. Provide mentorship and guidance for directs and the broader technology delivery organization. Financial Accountability – Ensure accurate financial budgets are observed across your programs and cost centers. Be a model of financial stewardship for your team to mirror. Product and Agile Execution Shift – Define the product solution portfolio and bring business and technology stakeholders on the journey of change. Promote industry best practices and set a high bar of standards, establishing a quarterly cadence of change.Technology Expert – Stay up to date on current trends in industry and within the technology landscape which you are accountable for, adoption and leveraging to lead improvements and value for the enterpriseYour skills and experienceBachelor's Degree required with preferred focus in Computer Science or related field12+ years of application development leadership experience8+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and development8+ years of experience architecting and building solutions within public cloud providers, specifically with AWS and/or Azure8+ years of experience architecting and building solutions that use Kafka, API Gateway, Service Mesh technologies5+ years of experience delivering solution in regulated environments at a global scaleDemonstrated proficiency of integration approaches and architecturesDemonstrated proficiency of pros and cons with cloud-native solutions, microservice architectures and API orchestration architecturesDemonstrated expertise in DevOps/DevSecOps tools and frameworksDemonstrated expertise in technologies such as Java, Kafka, Docker, SpringBoot Framework and others#LI-HYBRIDMinimum requirements and flexible working hours will be considered as related to our EEO policy.Our BenefitsCSL employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1.
