Job Description

The Casino Cage Manager is responsible for overseeing all revenues held in the casino cage and ensuring the protection of casino cage assets. This role involves implementing accounting and documentation policies, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, laws, and gaming regulations, including count room activities.
Oversee daily operations of the casino cage, credit, and count room departments.
Hire, supervise, train, evaluate, coach, discipline, and schedule team members.
Instruct finance operations team members on proper procedures and job performance.
Coordinate tasks and information with various departments and maintain interaction through cage tasks.
Direct and coordinate credit office activities to secure payment on outstanding markers and returned checks using established collection procedures.
Oversee all count room operations, ensuring compliance with policies and controls.
Monitor and enforce company policies, procedures, gaming laws, and completion of all required paperwork.
Maintain customer credit history records.
Report and investigate any cage variances.
Manage the year-end chip count.
Maintain necessary supplies for the department.
Resolve customer complaints and disputes.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Authorize and extend complimentary services according to the approved comp matrix.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
5 years of experience required as a Cage Shift Supervisor.
Proficiency in basic office machines and computer programs.
Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 26 pounds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Knowledge of cage/count room operations, credit/collection practices, company policies, and relevant gaming regulations.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
