The Director of Finance will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the firm, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position requires a strong leader capable of interacting with all levels of the organization and contributing to the firm's long-term financial strategy.
What you will do: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis Develop and implement financial strategies to support the firm's growth and profitability goals Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Compiles and disseminates monthly shareholder and financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and financial statements Collaborate with the President, Chief Operations Officer and Board of Directors on strategic planning and financial decision-making Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors Lead and develop the finance team (10+ personnel), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and drive operational efficiency Assesses, establishes, and ensures the efficiency of internal financial controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with a track record of leadership and strategic financial management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in financial software and systems Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and support organizational growth High level of integrity and professionalism PangeaTwo's goal is to ensure that each recruitment opportunity yields rewarding dividends for both candidates and clients.
