\n ResponsibilitiesReport to the Vice President of Accounting & Controller. Oversee bimonthly payroll processing and ensure accurate payment for all employees across all pay types including: hourly, salaried, bonus, variable pay, etc.Manage the payroll team and facilitate training and development.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, multi-state and local payroll laws, regulations, and taxes.Receive, organize, and respond to all payroll related notices.Supervise the timely response to all employee inquiries.Represent the payroll department during biweekly and monthly business reviews.Take ownership of payroll-related journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and ensure accurate general ledger reporting.Take ownership of all payroll audit requests, both financial statements and 401(k).Lead the migration and implementation of a new payroll system, ensuring a smooth and timely transition.Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within payroll and tax reporting to reduce manual errors and inefficiencies.
