We are currently assisting our client, a Global Market Leader, with a Director of Quality search located near Los Angeles, CA. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will provide leadership and strategic direction to quality and continuous improvement functions and ensuring proper interface and integration to all aspects of business. This will be accomplished by leading the multi-site quality organization and substantially strengthening and standardizing quality, engineering, operations systems and processes to achieve business objectives and drive quality management systems. Responsibilities: Oversee all plant Quality Systems and develop, implement and track objectives and processes to ensure all metrics are metProvide quality characteristics throughout process and product development to ensure all customers' expectations are metDefine, plan, direct, analyze and report statistical analysis and capability of product/process featuresMentor, train, and supervise all quality personnel with a vision of Safety and Continuous ImprovementReduce cost of quality focused on zero based toleranceRepresent the plant with external customers in quality-related mattersRequirements: Bachelor's degree required10+ years in Quality Management within a manufacturing environmentExperience in Operations Excellence with specific knowledge and experience in all Quality functions, lean manufacturing, and skilled in six sigma methodologyDemonstrated successes within a fast-paced, metric-driven environmentDemonstrated skills in aerospace quality management systems and standardsTotal Compensation: $200,000 - $270,000Additional Information: All information will be kept strictly confidentialApplications will not be considered without a Resume/Curriculum Vitae which includes contact information
