This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong experience in Residential & Consumer Lending motivated to lead the department's overall strategy to develop new loan business and service existing portfolios.
*Work Location:*
This position is based in the Farmington main office, primarily in office.
Hybrid arrangement considered after 6 months in the role, but expectations are mostly in-office work.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead and manage the team of Residential and Consumer lenders, processors, underwriters, servicers, closers, and collectors.
* Manage the development, implementation, and operations of residential/consumer lending products & services.
Ensure product offerings meet the customer needs and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and vet technology & processes to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
* Oversee both the residential and consumer loan portfolios and loan pipelines, monitoring for trends in volume, delinquency or other notable factors
* Collaborate in the hiring, training, and retention of staff.
* Maintain good public relations with customers and the community.
Assume community leadership and service responsibilities.
* Participate & Contribute to the Loan, Collections, Compliance & Asset/Liability Committees.
* Ensure Residential and Consumer team's adherence to all banking regulations pertaining to Residential and Consumer lending.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
* 15+ Years in Residential and Consumer Lending
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Exceptional leadership abilities
