Job Summary Looking for an opportunity to work for one of the world's largest food service companies and influence a Fortune 5 tech company's food program? If you're looking for a challenging, strategy-driven, innovative work environment with one of our top global clients, this role is for you! The Director of Sustainability and Wellness is the lead developer of the comprehensive sustainability and wellness strategy. This individual will be the core implementation expert and narrator of the results for a global fortune 5 client. The Director of Sustainability will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainability programs, listening, and articulating the voice of the client and their employees, providing training to team members on relevant sustainability initiatives, monitoring, inputting, and analyzing data, and identifying efficiencies and solutions to further sustainability initiatives. This highly visible role will report to the VP of Business Insights, with a dotted line to the global sustainability team.
This role will maximize industry knowledge, client priorities, and company resources to develop an implementation roadmap that influences people and planet positively.

Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive food and beverage sustainability and wellness strategy and road map in alignment with company and client goals
Operationalize and implement sustainability and wellness-impacting initiatives in alignment with the comprehensive strategy collaborating with key cross-functional partners
Measures the impact of initiatives and supervises total strategy impact including regular executive and client reporting
Functions as the sustainability and wellness authority for sales and retention efforts
Coordinates with internal and external research, analytical, and consulting teams to develop sustainability & wellness activities and protocols; advises or supports measurement and evaluation
Conduct regular sustainability compliance evaluations, including input and analysis of data
Regularly assess the progress of sustainable purchases, programs, and efficiencies making regular updates to the client and leadership
Interacts expertly with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients, and customers and adopts excellence in customer service both for internal and external customers
Achieves goals measured by critical metrics
Develops and maintains relationships with key partners
Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, nutrition, hospitality, communications, or a related field
Desired 5-7 years of professional experience in sustainability, project management, or hospitality industry operations
Experience in sustainability strongly preferred, passion for sustainability required
Sophisticated written and oral communication skills including public speaking
Strong presentation and time management skills; strong management and leadership skills, advanced problem-solving skills, and outstanding interpersonal skills
Ability to travel


Preferred Skills:
Project Management or large-scale strategy deployment
Culinary and/or food service experience
Familiarity with core business data (SAP, P&L statements, purchasing data)
Familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
