Job Summary

Accountable for Software Delivery, using Agile time boxed iterative approach for all Pharmacy and Healthcare product lines.
Job Responsibilities

Accountable for Software Delivery, using Agile time boxed iterative approach for all Rx and HC product lines.
Collaborates with product management and base business on product lines and products roadmaps assuring outcome based delivery. Collaborates closely with Architecture, Solution Engineering and QE supporting E2E solution delivery.
Directs all phases of product engineering: Refinement, Design, Construction, Integration, Testing, Defects fixes.
Sets direction, process and organization of Product Engineering.
Oversees and manages vendors, vendor contracts and appropriate SLAs.
Directs Product Engineering activities across all product lines and innovation in collaboration with Prod Mgmt supports creation of products roadmaps.
Participates in and manages strategic initiatives with company-wide impact.
Develops and executes 3yr and annual operating plan and budget, manages department budgets, timelines and risks.
Develops strategy and vision within PE and across Rx and HC division.
Directs the operations of Product Engineering to achieve strategic and operational business goals and targeted financial and content quality results.
Assists Rx and HC VP in the development of strategic plans for the organization.
Implements policies and defines approach to strategy achievement for specified area of responsibility. Analyzes long-term impact of new or anticipated strategies and decisions.
Manages budgets, operational plans and performance requirements for the specified area of responsibility. Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives.
Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within and outside of the organization. Shares highly complex information related to areas of expertise. Interacts with senior management to keep abreast of objectives. Interacts with direct reports and peers in management/customers/vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional processes and programs. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.
Coaches, mentors and develops team members through recruitment, hiring, development. Management of some team members may be in a virtual environment. Manages, plans, performance management, career development, training to assure appropriate resources and minimize costs for completion of projects within designated time frames.

External Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering and/or Product Engineering OR High School/GED and at least 11 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering and/or Product Engineering.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience with product engineering.
At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
