Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Clean dishes, glasses, pot and pans, kitchen, food preparation equipment, and utensils.
Hiring for Full Time or Part Time Evening shifts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
•Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
•Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in appropriate storage areas.
•Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
•Receive and store dishwashing supplies.
•Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
•Ability to execute all sanitation and cleaning responsibilities in the dish room.
•Must report and maintain loss of dishes, utensils, pots and pans and glassware.
•Must maintain dishwashing equipment in accordance with department and company policy.
•Keep the dish room free of garbage and spills as they occur.
•Help out cooks as instructed.
•Knowledge of where soaps and chemicals are stored and their usage.
•Must maintain proper personal hygiene, cleanliness and uniform expectations of self.
•Must have knowledge of and be able to perform proper opening/closing procedures.
