DEI Specialist

Location:Boston, MA - Hybrid office schedule

Job Summary:The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion specialist will support the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to promote a culture of inclusion and belonging, ensuring that all employees feel valued and respected.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of DEI programs and initiatives.
Coordinate events, programs, projects on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
Provide project and program management support, including monitoring project progress and keeping projects and tasks on track, keeping cross-functional partners appropriately engaged and informed, and actively resolving issues.
Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other DEI-related committees to include governance, budgets, programming etc.
Collect and track data to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives. Monitor and update DEI data dashboards.
DEI Liaison with Social Impact and Sustainability to include tracking and reporting on established metrics.
Provide support to employees and management on DEI-related matters.
Assist with Talent Acquisition events, programs and on-site activations with prospective talent.
Manage DEI award submission process.
Manage DEI budget transactions and tracking.
Manage DEI calendaring of events to include ERG events.
Liaison for DEI inquiries with ERG Communications, training and events.
Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in DEI.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives or related roles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Passion for promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Creative thinker who can generate innovative program ideas to improve the PTC experience and has a growth mindset (i.e., you're excited to try new things and believe challenges will help you grow).
Ability to proactively manage priorities and deadlines calmly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while forecasting potential outcomes, providing alternative solutions
Exceptional calendar and time management skills
