About Us: SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment. What We're Seeking: SWD Inc., located in Addison, IL. is looking for an on-site Dock Worker/Forklift Operator. This role is Monday-Friday 12pm- roughly 8:30 pm starting at $18.75/hr (with overtime as required). Employees leave each day once the dock work for the day is completed.
Job Responsibilities: Accurately load and unload trucks with a lift truck, pallet jack, or two-wheel dolly.Correctly weigh incoming material using a floor scale.Identify fasteners or products from the packing slips provided.Locate and ship outgoing material to the appropriate customers.Correctly package ups for shipping.Interact with customers and drivers in a courteous manner.
