The primary purpose of this position is to provide friendly and professional on-time delivery of our on-line customer orders. Safe driving techniques are mandatory. Team members must maintain truck organization to ensure safety, minimize product damage, and ensure customer orders are complete. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Safely deliver complete customer orders following the routing * Ensure all totes are accounted for, accurate, and received at time of delivery * Follow rules of the road and DOT regulations * Provide exceptional customer service at time of delivery * Ability to work in various temperature and weather * Ability to push, carry, and lift (sometimes overhead) * Demonstrate the company's values of CARE, INTEGRITY, TEAMWORK, COURAGE, and HUMOR * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. * Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner. * Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance. * Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job. * Customer-oriented attitude * Interpersonal skills * Self-starter with demonstrated ability to show initiative * Organizational skills with an eye for detail * Ability to comprehend and perform basic math * Must complete Smith Safe Driver training. and maintain DOT card/requirements of the position while in position PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Shift Hours: Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs * Job Cycles: Continual Max * Lift/carry: 50 lbs. * Stand 55%, Sit 0%, Walk 45% * Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs. * Max Pull static: 20 lbs. * Exposure to weather conditions, driving in snow, wind, rain, and sunshine PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS * Team members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as published in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook.
