Job summary
The EHR Analyst for Pharmacy will be responsible for executing the system development life cycle (SDLC) of a new electronic health record.This role includes conducting the EHR system build, system configuration, and supporting workflow design.The analyst will ensure system design requirements and documentation are synchronized with workflow changes.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Execute the SDLC of a new electronic health record• Conduct the EHR system build and system configuration• Support workflow design• Develop and maintain documentation• Active participation in all phases and activities related to their scope of work within the SDLC• Execute a quality management plan• Participate in operational and integrated workgroups• Meet regularly with team members and project leadership• Conduct peer review of work product• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
Requirements
• BS degree• 3 years of related experience• Epic Certification required within 90 days of hire• Preferred education in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Administration, or Healthcare• Preferred 5 or more years of healthcare, information technology, or related experience
