What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
As an Electrical Engineer/Developer at Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you will participate within interdisciplinary teams to enhance, maintain and develop products for our Building Automation products, including controllers, sensors, power supplies, and actuators. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining products to satisfy customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Schematic and layout design of new HVAC controls and devices
Provide support of existing products
Create and review technical documentation for internal process and customer support
Collaborate with Product Managers and customers to understand customer requirements
Propose and implement product designs
Passionate and self-motivated to constantly improve and develop skills to stay current with technology
Participate in resolution of factory and customer issues
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
5 years of building controls experience (sensors, thermostats, controllers and actuators)
Circuit design and ECAD tool experience
Exposure to building automation technologies
Experience working with control systems
Embedded Microcontroller and Switched-mode Power Supply design experience
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition desired
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter desired
Works well in teams and on individual assignments, able to give work direction
Actively shares knowledge and expertise with fellow team members
Able to provide reliable estimates to tasks and project scopes
Solid hands-on skills: troubleshooting, prototyping, soldering, test set-up and execution
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with Labview desired
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Working knowledge of embedded microcontroller programming a plus
Lab Equipment: DMM, Oscilloscope, Power Analyzer, Waveform Generator, Signal Analyzer
Experience working in cross-functional teams designing electromechanical systems

The pay range for this position is. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
