Description
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements and scope.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for electrical construction projects.
Consult with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate accurate bidding processes.
Review and analyze project changes and their impact on cost and scheduling.
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Collaborate with project managers to track and manage budgets during project execution.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance estimating processes.
Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and correspondence related to projects.
Profile
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
