Position Summary: Assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as electrical panel, switches kits, motors, or hydraulic cylinders and test equipment e.g. telemetering systems, electric motors, center drives. Safety First – Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with all compliance and regulatory requirements including Life Safety Elements and hold others accountable to do the same.
Essential functions: Operate hand-operated pneumatic tools Must be able to read a blueprint Use Hand tools Operate hydraulic presses read blueprints and schematics Accurate production reporting Previous wiring is a plus Willingness to work in a team environment Ability to work in a fast pace environment Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required to meet our customer needs. Ability to work with little supervision Must follow all safety rules and regulations Must be able to Communicate in English Assist in accurate and timely inventory control management both physically and transactionally Other duties as assigned by his/her manager to ensure the best possible Safety, Quality and Cost deliverables for Lindsay. Qualifications: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals. Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result. Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
