Spanning West Texas through Southeast New Mexico, ConocoPhillips holds approximately 709,000 total net acres in the Delaware Basin, which includes approximately 699,000 unconventional net acres. ConocoPhillips began exploring and appraising the basin's stacked pay potential in 2012 and has gained extensive technical expertise to optimize development. Entering 2023, the company now operates over 2,800 wells throughout the Basin.
In 2022, the company operated an average of 10 drilling rigs, including one electric rig, and 153 new operated wells were brought online. Net production in 2022 averaged 321 MBOED. Quality of Life Incentives

If you are the successful candidate, you will become an important part of the Integrated Operations team reporting to the Electrical Foreman. This role supports critical Electrical activities for the Delaware Basin production and facilities group.
Must be a Safety Leader and drive ConocoPhillips core values.
Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt and embrace change along with the ability to learn and understand multiple instrumentation and control platforms is essential to the success of this position.
This is a Safety Sensitive position. Responsibilities may include: Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical equipment including tank levels, pressure instrumentation, safety switches, LACT units, automation timers, telephone lines and systems, chromatographs, electric motors, and pumps, wiring conduits, motor starters, generators, control panels, voltage regulators, rectifiers, transformers, gas detectors, and fire alarm systems Provide pragmatic solutions to complex problems, with a focus on Operability and Maintenance sustainability Consulting with vendors on the design and installation of new electrical equipment and purchasing new electronic equipment as necessary Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as job conditions require Supporting the maintenance of technical standards, criteria, guidelines, and specifications Ensuring electrical upgrades/modifications follow relevant industry and corporate standards including NFPA, NEC, NESC compliance Basic/Required: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer Current/valid driver's license 3+ years of experience in Electrical Controls or electrical industry background Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word Intermediate knowledge on Reading/Understand P&ID's (symbols, tags, and instrument lines) and One-Line, wiring and instrument loop diagrams Intermediate knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.) Willing and able to perform job duties in adverse weather conditions Preferred: Associate degree or trade certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation and/or Electronics Technology or foreign equivalent to Journeyman License 5+ years of experience in oil and gas Facility Design, Construction/Installation, Operation, and Optimization of Production Facilities, Compression, Saltwater Disposal, and other Infrastructure Demonstrated work experience and knowledge of high-voltage power line construction maintenance and repair, including transformer sizing, and installation Proficient in low voltage AC Power systems, including maintenance of 3 phase 480volt AC Motors/Controllers Medium Voltage experience Proficient in DC Power and Distribution systems, including Solar Technologies Advanced level of knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.) Advance knowledge in Read/Understand P&ID's (symbols, tags, and instrument lines) and One-Line, wiring and instrument loop diagrams Intermediate knowledge on Maintaining inventory and equipment logs Excellent and Strong communication, collaboration skills, and partnership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced organization Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what is right Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical Apply Before: June 4, 2024
