Entron Controls has an immediate opening for an Electronics Test Technician II .
In this key contributor role, the ideal team member will apply their skilled experience to positively impact the team and production.

Controls are produced at our 20,000 sq/ft climate-controlled facility.

Electronics Test Technician II 1st Shift
Your experience and background:
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, designs, schematics and other materials related to assembly.
Performs functional testing and troubleshooting on assemblies to component level (e.g., meters, power supplies, scopes, etc.)
referencing work orders, procedures, standards and/or guides.
Utilize a combination of measuring tools and hand tools with the ability to inspect and test completed printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring quality specifications are met.
Perform inspections to ensure parts (both low and high voltage) meet production specifications and standards.
Apply critical thinking skills to diagnose problems and repair issues in an effective manner using equipment and reference materials needed to complete test requirements.
Schedule and perform calibration activities for mechanical, electrical, and linear equipment according to established procedures to maintain calibration status.
Troubleshoots failures, adjusting and/or correcting assembly or rejecting parts requiring rework.
Evaluate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), coordinating repair, rework or replacement efficiently and timely.
Test assembled small cabinets, ensuring quality specifications are met to include alignment and tolerance in accordance with requirements.
Utilizes system to log each job accurately and correctly to record time and materials for each job.
Support field calls, troubleshooting minor issues by phone, identifying solutions and/or next steps; records all interactions in the system, following through to closure (e.g., no additional support needed, or additional support needed).
Extract data from system, running reports as required and requested, detailing failures with all supporting information.
Communicates progress several times a day to the Supervisor.

Requirements:
Electronics Test Technician II 1st Shift
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Electronics education (Have certification or Associates Degree)
Must be 18 years or older, meeting safety guidelines and requirements.
Minimum 1 years' experience in testing and Troubleshooting to the component level with a minimum 1 years' assembly and/or manufacturing experience.
Cross-functional, technical assembly experience highly desired.
Ability to perform problem solving techniques and utilize root cause analysis.
General computer knowledge, to include reviewing and reporting data.
In support of drug-free workplace, ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening; pre-employment physical also required.
