We are in search of an End-to-End Cellular Network Architect to join our team to support the current state AND enable delivery against future requirements for our ever evolving smart, secure software solutions and platforms which maximize the ROI on IoT for businesses with complex, global cellular deployments. You'll play an integral role impacting the technology vision and roadmap through architectural design, technology selection, and compliance. You will also shape/affect/influence interoperability, security, network performance, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:Define the cellular core and IP network connectivity roadmap for the next 3-5 years in alignment with sales and product management including the path for the existing network to migrate to the technology roadmap vision.Develop comprehensive network architecture designs that cover all end-to-end aspects from the core network to the radio access networks (RAN), including interfaces and protocols. The emphasis is on the Core Network.Ensure seamless interoperability between various network elements and across multiple vendors.Design and implement Quality of Service (QoS), robust security architecture, and ways to monitor and optimize network performance, and architectures to automate device provisioning and network management.Develop strategies for network migration and transformation (e.g., from 4G to 5G), leverage network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN), and integrate cloud-based solutions for core functions and services.Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory requirements, architectures comply with key standards (3GPP, GSMA, ITU, RFCs), and adherence to industry standards and best practices. Basic Requirements:Expertise in cellular technologies like GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G including familiarity with the architecture and functioning of Core network, RAN, transport networks, and their respective components (e.g., PGW, PCRF, SGW, MME, eNodeB, gNodeB, etc.).In-depth knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, Ethernet) and expertise in IP networking, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and transport technologies (e.g., SDN).Experience with Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN), knowledge of cloud architectures including public, private, and hybrid clouds.Understanding of network security principles and practices, of network security principles and practices, and quality of service (QoS) management and network optimization techniques.Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions as well as quickly diagnose and resolve network issues, including the ability to implement effective troubleshooting procedures.Ability to lead technical teams, inspire collaboration, and drive projects to completion.Bachelor degree or higher degree (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Requirements:Ability to manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery of services and equipment and managing expectations and communication with stakeholders at all levels.Relevant certifications such as Cisco's CCNP/CCIE, Juniper Networks certification, CompTIA Network+, security certifications such as CISSP, specific telecom certifications like LTE/5G training from recognized institutions.
