Responsibilities: Testing, maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, installing and upgrading the software and hardware infrastructure on operational systems critical in airplane approaches to airport landings and enroute navigations Researching, designing and developing software and hardware systems, enhancements, modifications and configurations to existing systems and networks Providing required inputs for development of software and hardware system manuals, guidelines and documentation where commercially developed documents are unavailable Providing engineering review of Navigation and Landing Systems software and hardware design data to ensure compliance with FAA performance criteria Hardware skills in both analog and digital circuit analysis and design desired Programming skills in C/C++ or other languages for embedded microprocessor systems desired Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline (Computer/Electrical/Electronic preferred); ABET is required (accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science 0-5 years of engineering experience Strong analytical skills, proven problem solving ability while being self-motivated in our team environment Experience developing creative solutions for hardware and software Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required) Willing to travel Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
