ORGANIZATION SUMMARY World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church. POSITION SUMMARY: World Relief seeks an ELI Support Specialist. The ELI Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the ELI team with student enrollments, pretesting, post-testing, and client check-ins. The position also oversees all client referrals and case management. In addition, this position will work alongside the ELI Supervisor to assist with the TXOR Education Grant. This role is part-time, 24 hours per week.


\n ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Work in-office alongside the ELI Supervisor and Lead Support Specialist to assist with the TXOR Education Grant compliance. Oversee client referrals and case management. Meeting with clients to complete student enrollment paperwork, new student orientation, and pre and post testing. Maintain client records in an organized and confidential manner and enter them into our database. Reach out to students who are missing classes and provide support or referrals to other English programs, as needed. Maintain close communication with other staff and volunteers to coordinate effective client service. Communicating any client needs with the ELI Supervisor and/or corresponding teachers. Becoming BEST Plus Certified and keep up with any continuing education needed from the Center of Applied Linguistics. Drive to and from client housing to assist in classes and conduct enrollments. JOB REQUIREMENTS:Mature and personal Christian faithCommitted to the mission, vision, and values of World ReliefDesire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communitiesAble to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation documentCross-cultural experience Driver's license and access to a vehicle required Able to drive to Fort Worth, as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of a second language is strongly preferred Experience in case management preferred Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills Familiarity and ease of use in basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, databases); other design/marketing skills a plus Confidentiality and professionalism Knowledge of World ReliefExperience working with adult ELI learners, preferred
\n$22 - $22 an hour
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
