GovCIO is currently hiring for a remote Enterprise Architect with an active Secret clearance in support of our DEA Bluestone program.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise standards, data models, and solution roadmap.
Analyze technical solutions and work closely with network and systems administration team to provide best practice architecture to support the enterprise.
Assist with the migrations of applications and/or systems to the cloud (public, private, Government, and hybrid).
Deploy mobile applications and data analytics tools.
Manage and deploy consolidated and diverse user interfaces and architectures within an application portfolio.
Conduct analyses of highly complex agency-wide business issues.
Develop, plan, and lead the design and implementation of IT systems that address enterprise-wide needs.
Research and prototype emerging technologies, leveraging open source and cloud-native technologies such as Apache, Jenkins, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Establish system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Supports the To-Be Integration through designs, builds, and supports all agreed to integration requirements.
Serves as the senior technical resource in the daily delivery of the Contractor product team.
Supports and works with DEA legacy Application owners to support any new and/or required development activities and approvals that might be needed within legacy platforms to support integration.
Supports DEA environment integration: Designs, builds, and supports all agreed integration requirements to align with DEA architecture, including cloud.
Establishes technical goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve interfacing with program and Government management.
Provides decision-making and domain knowledge that may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Qualifications Bachelor's with 15+ years of enterprise architecture experience (or commensurate experience).
Clearance Required: Active Secret clearance.

Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range USD $124,540.00 - USD $185,640.00 /Yr.
