JOB SUMMARY:
Provides leadership and administrative duties in support of Entertainment venue(s) and venue management by upholding and reinforcing company and venue specific policies and procedures; overseeing daily operation of venue(s); providing work direction to Team Members; ensuring show quality, guest service, and safety expectations are achieved; and completing tasks and assignments critical to the daily operation of the Entertainment venue(s).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for assuring that all assigned administrative duties are completed in a timely, accurate manner including but not limited to Team Member scheduling, show rotations and set grids, reconciling timecards, overtime justifications, show reporting, Team Member observations and recognition, venue supply inventory, updating company information, maintaining TSAT communication boards, EHS compliance tracking, and other functions for the assigned venue(s).
Focuses on Guest and Team Member satisfaction. Ensures that each Team Member is meeting UO service standards and assisting Guests while maintaining an efficient, safe, and pleasant environment. Addresses and follows up on any observed show quality, guest, or safety issues utilizing the necessary departments and Entertainment manager on duty to expedite a resolution. Supports current TSAT and GSAT initiatives and programs in place to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall job satisfaction and efficiency.
Provides work direction to Team Members; communicates and reinforces company and venue specific expectations of behavior and performance standards; engages in Team Member feedback discussions for recognition and performance improvement; assists in compiling written documentation of observed behaviors for Assistant Venue Manager and/or Venue Manager. Partner with Assistant Venue Manager and/or Venue Manager on developing, writing, and updating operating and training manuals, producing spot talks, and documenting and addressing infractions with hourly Team Members.
Performs opening and/or closing duties for the venue(s) including checking in cast and crew, conducting daily shift meetings, handling all staffing issues resulting from Team Member call-ins, monitoring start-up/shut down procedures, communicating operational readiness or staffing/technical problems with partnering departments, update daily grids and rotations, and compiling daily Show Report for submission.
In the absence of the Assistant Manager, Entertainment Operations - Venue and Manager, Entertainment Operations - Venue, oversees the operation of venue and is the first point of contact for Team Members, guests, and interdepartmental partners when show critical decisions are made. Addresses any immediate issues pertaining to the venue(s). Responsible for communicating information relevant to the operation of the venue(s) to both upper management and Team Members.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Associate's degree (AA) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1+ years previous leadership experience required.
1+ years experience within the professional entertainment or theme park industry required.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
