Now Accepting Applications for ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER The New Canaan Police Department is an internationally accredited agency that is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time entry level Police Officer. Applicants must be a U.S Citizen, at least 21 years of age, and have a high school or equivalent degree. A minimum score of 40% on the CHIP Test and a minimum passing score of 75% on the CPCA Entry Level Written Exam are required prior to applying. Eligible candidates will be required to complete and successfully pass a peer interview, polygraph examination, Police Commission interview, psychological evaluation, medical examination and a thorough background investigation.
