PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PRIOR UTILITY SOLAR EXPERIENCE EPC EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED **Job Responsibilities:** - Oversee project execution, including financial management, contractor coordination, and involvement in proposals and presentations. - Contribute to financial tracking for projects by: - Approving job-related expenses - Assisting in monthly financial reporting - Processing requisitions - Managing change orders - Supporting loss control efforts - Overseeing project assets - Collaborate with on-site teams to develop and maintain safety programs, fostering a positive safety culture. - Implement and uphold quality management practices and a culture of quality. - Coordinate and monitor schedules for design deliverables to support permitting, procurement, production, construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout. - Manage performance reports regarding schedule, costs, equipment, workforce, materials, safety, quality control, and best practices. - Work with field supervisors to ensure all necessary resources are available for operations. - Manage risks related to compliance with contracts and design specifications. - Cultivate relationships with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors. - Oversee workforce scheduling for staff and hourly employees. - Build and maintain strong, customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders, including local officials. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum of three years of experience in project management within construction, including roles such as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and government officials. - Proficiency in computer applications, including: - MS Office Suite - Scheduling software (e.g., Primavera or Microsoft Project) - Project management/accounting software (e.g., Procore or Sage) - Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. - Willingness to travel as needed.
