Estimator Rainscree/Metal Panel

Highly respected Contract un the DC area is seeking an Estimator-Rainscreen & Metal Panels for their Alexandria, VA office. We are seeking to hire a self-motivated, detail and quality-oriented candidate for this integral fulltime position in the Estimating Department that will provide Rainscreen and Metal Panel Estimating Services for exterior wall cladding projects for commercial projects.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Reading and interpreting construction specifications, architectural drawings, structural drawings, addendums, RFPs, and other basic construction documents: ASI, RFI, CRP, etc. Using internal software and processes, develop accurate project take-offs from the data provided including accurate quantity take-offs of material, supplies, and the labor necessary to complete the project within scope. Internal and external communication to organize and maintain bid documentation online should be driven by passion for accuracy, detail, and customer service. Accurate communication of all information via strong numerical, written, and verbal documentation is critical to the bidding process, presentation of bid information to Sales, and to the final success of awarded projects.
