Job Overview: We are currently seeking a part-time in-house Events & Community Coordinator to join our team at our headquarters located in Austin, TX.
The person in this role will play a key role in building the Nina Berenato Jewelry community and cultivating relationships to assist with the growth and development of the Nina Berenato Jewelry brand.
The Events & Community Coordinator spearheads is responsible for planning and directing in-store events for our stores in Austin, Dallas and Houston, managing influencer partnerships, managing our celebrity collaborations and booking media opportunities for the brand.
This position requires someone with an extensive network of contacts, ability to cultivate relationships and make new contacts, passion for supporting small businesses, particularly women-owned enterprises, and a genuine interest in the jewelry/retail industry.
Please note this role does require both local and out of town travel.
A drivers license and reliable personal transportation are required to meet the local travel needs of this role.
This role reports directly to our business owner and CEO, Nina Berenato.

Responsibilities Cultivate relationships with influential journalists, influencers and peers to drive storytelling around key launches and campaigns Act as the Celebrity and Influencer Coordinator to build comprehensive strategies, as well as contacting, tracking and booking influencer visits and celebrity placements.
Stay up to date with relevant industry trends, new platforms, and cultural conversations, and ideates creative ways to elevate brand perception in the Sales Market Create prospecting lists and customizing pitches in a creative and effective way.
Drive projects forward through strong collaboration to ensure timelines, budgets, and goals are met Possess a strong media network and maintains relationships with journalists, influencers, and relevant communication platforms to understand evolving media landscape, to create relevant pitch angles and secure impactful coverage Support in-store retail teams by proactively seeking new opportunities for external partnerships and event opportunities to each locations offering and expose the brand to strategic audiences Drive communications led initiatives forward with external and cross-functional partners through motivation, project planning and clear communication Create and manage project strategies, timelines and budgets and hold themselves accountable to meet project deliverables Draft and edit show materials including press releases, pull information for stylists, messaging documents and pitches Requirements 2+ years of experience in media or Fashion PR in an agency or in-house capacity 2+ years event planning experience Exceptional interpersonal, and excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Able to think and work strategically on big-picture opportunities; able to plan ahead, and foresee opportunities Significant knowledge of influencer marketing and proven record of effective social media strategy Proven ability to build and maintain a strong network of both industry peers and media contacts.
Strong ability to engage and collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders Keen interest and sense of fashion with natural inclination for style Strong brand ambassador and professional maturity TRAVEL: Both local and domestic travel required Drivers license and reliable personal vehicle required for travel.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary: $23/hr Hours: 25-28 hrs/week / 5 days/wk; NOTE: Hours are based on business needs - possibility to move to FT if role expands Flexible schedule - daily begin and end time is flexible.
