We are looking for a US & EMEA Events Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience & Events, you will support the team with planning and delivering best in class external events.
You will be responsible for supporting external in-person and virtual events and industry partnerships.
The Events Manager can expect to be immersed in many projects consecutively.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event execution, and manage logistics for events of all sizes.
Responsibilities will include developing event strategies, overseeing event budgets, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring all events align with our company's objectives and brand standards.
This role requires a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Manage the event calendar and ensure all dates are updated on internal platforms Responsible for defining event objectives: setting clear goals for the events including brand visibility and managing the event from A to Z Maintain all events in Asana to ensure visibility and ease of project management Create surveys and feedback loop that gives the team a regular pulse on our team across the world Find ways to improve and innovate on communications practices & channels continuously Partner with the lead gen team on pre and post event plan including campaigns and social media.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Partner with key LexisNexis corporate event managers to see if there are any partnership opportunities Partner with Regional Field Marketing leads to build out a global Industry Relations and Events plan anchored in tent pole 3rd party events & owned events Provide strategic plan and lead negotiations with vendors for each event to create a memorable client experience, maximize ROI and meet internal stakeholder objectives Work with internal subject matter experts and marketing leaders to develop content and messaging for events Promote an environment that fosters inclusive relationships and creates unbiased opportunities that uphold our values What we expect from you: You have a good understanding of workplace technology and how it impacts event planning You have the ability to work effectively across an organization and at all levels of the organization with proven track record of working with senior executives You have a deep understanding of how communications, leadership, and culture intersect You are highly creative and bring strong project management skills and experience working in a global matrix management culture.
You can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You respect the confidentiality of sensitive projects, perform under pressure and within ambiguity, and can prioritize and execute short- and long-term initiatives Qualifications: 5+ years experience in event marketing, preferably in the SaaS/technology industry.
Must be an articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills as this position is required to develop originally written content and the demonstrated ability to present in high profile group environments.
Ability to be nimble, think on your feet and balance strategy with tactical execution Curious, confident holistic problem-solver with a clear point of view Ability to analyze employee engagement levels and help develop action plans to address areas of improvement Detailed oriented, organized, and flourishes when multi-tasking Embodies a flexible nature for change Proven ability to drive results Location: US- Pennsylvania - remote locations will be considered.
