Browning is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CEO who is based in DC and travels internationally, with some responsibility for activities in London. Our clients include the United Nations, non-profit organizations like The Nature Conservancy, large companies like Accenture and Puma, and smaller non-government organizations and clean technology firms. All of our work is focused on supporting action on climate change and restoring the natural world. The office is located at 900 17th Street NW, Washington, DC. ResponsibilitiesDaily diary management for CEO.Maintenance of email inbox system to allow for swift responses and actions by the CEO.Preparation of emails and letters.Management of CEO business expenses, including organization and retention of supporting documentation.Setting up calls and meetings for CEO and senior team members with clients and other stakeholders in multiple time zones.Management of company new business database, coordinating with senior new business leads in the US and Europe, and coordination of related activities.Management, planning, and booking of all US and UK staff travel.Maintenance of DC office inventories and ensuring the DC team is well supported with equipment, stationery, drinks, etc.HR support including onboarding new staff in DC and communication with job applicants.Organization of DC team social events and support with organizing US internal and external events.Point of contact for US suppliers to address any operational challenges.Ad-hoc support with DC operational admin, for example, assisting with the resolution of IT and telecom issues by coordinating with our external support services.Managing additional DC office projects and any other administrative duties as required.About you3 years minimum experience in a similar role.Excellent email communication skills and attention to detail.Team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.Excellent planning ability, in particular planning CEO diary, booking travel, and coordinating across multiple time zones.A self-starter with the ability to solve problems and independently prioritize tasks and work under pressure.Serve as an ambassador for the business, being a first point of contact for clients and partners.Ability to multitask and skill-up quickly on new topics.Creative ability with Microsoft Word, databases, and ideally Excel and PowerPoint.Ideally, a strong interest in stopping climate change and protecting nature.Competitive salary + 401(k) match + personal wellness stipend + transit benefits and more.
