About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Campus Safety and Emergency Management to provide transformative and relationship-engaged leadership.

The Executive Director will also be a key advisor on campus safety issues, security operations, and emergency management, and will work to refine and articulate the department's vision and mission as a critical element of the university experience.
Candidates for the Executive Director position should be well-versed in contemporary challenges facing university campuses, such as meaningful community engagement, the role of campus security, and issues related to gender-based violence, harassment, and the treatment of minoritized individuals.
The role requires a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and care, and the ability to lead thoughtful and transparent conversations on these topics.
The Executive Director will be responsible for developing strategies to ensure that the Campus Safety team is a trusted and supportive resource for the community, with a focus on the well-being of all those served.
This includes working in partnership with the entire campus community to cultivate an anti-racist, welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.
The position is also a mandatory reporter, with a responsibility to ensure that criminal incidents are reported to the appropriate university officials.
