About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Medical Director with a focus on neurology clinical development, particularly in the area of neuromuscular diseases.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and executing development strategies for the neurology portfolio, leading and overseeing multiple clinical project teams, and driving the design and implementation of development plans for Phase 3 programs.
This role requires a strong leader who can build and lead a team to advance assets in the neuromuscular disease space, while also collaborating with external medical and scientific advisors, thought leaders, and clinical investigators.
The Executive Medical Director will contribute to integrated development plans, ensure alignment with strategic vision and regulatory requirements, and engage with regulatory agencies to design and develop efficient clinical programs.
Applicants must have an MD with approximately 5 years of industry experience, demonstrating a strong leadership in clinical development across early to late-stage therapeutic programs.
A proven track record in rare neurologic and/or neuromuscular diseases is preferred, with experience in both large and small biopharmaceutical companies.
Expertise in clinical trial design, including adaptive designs, and a comprehensive understanding of preclinical and clinical development processes are essential.
The role also requires a successful history of developing, planning, and executing clinical studies leading to therapeutic registrations, as well as experience with regulatory submissions and interactions, including novel trial designs and indications.
The position is pivotal in proactively addressing clinical development pathway gaps and requires a candidate who can leverage leading-edge technology in the therapeutic area.
