F/T Litigation Paralegal

Job Title: Paralegal - Litigation Department Location: Long Island

Prestigious, full service, Long Island law firm seeks F/T Paralegal in the Litigation Department with at least 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency with New York State's e-filing system (NYSCEF) and Federal Court PACER system Familiarity with State and Federal Court rules and procedures Experience in legal research (Westlaw) is preferred Responsibilities: Aiding in discovery, including review, organization, indexing, and summarizing documents Assisting in preparing pleadings, motions, and correspondence Assisting with preparation for depositions and trials Other related tasks The firm's offices are centrally located on Long Island in one of the region's premier buildings.
