RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials. Coordinate and advance Interprofessional Educational (IPE) curriculum Rocky Vista University is seeking a faculty member within the Medical Humanities Department to lead the delivery of interprofessional education on the Ivins, UT campus. This role involves coordination and delivery interprofessional education programs that bring together students, faculty, and practitioners from diverse healthcare disciplines to learn and work collaboratively. Rocky Vista University offers a dynamic environment with both internal and external collaborative partners dedicated to interprofessional education and practice.
Coordinate IPE activities for students on the Ivins, Utah RVU campus Lead and participate the IPE curriculum on the Ivins, Utah RVU campus in conjunction with adjunct faculty Serve as the co-course director for the IPE I/II courses on the RVU Ivins, UT campus Support IPE partnerships on the RVU Ivins, UT campus Assess student progress towards IPE competencies and contribute to a program review plan for IPE Collaborate with other departments on campus to provide innovative curriculum Work with the Chair of Medical Humanities/Director of Interprofessional Education to create budget and strategic plans for each cycle Support the University core values through curriculum design, classroom instruction, and performance of scholarly activity Demonstrated commitment to valuing inclusive excellence and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in collaborative practice Demonstrated proficiency in communication and teamwork skills Demonstrated organizational skills Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate students and peers, and foster principles of humanism, empathy, and professionalism among students, faculty, and staff Terminal Degree from an accredited institution in health professions discipline (i.e. Nursing, Medicine, Physician Assistant, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Education, etc.) with Board Certification in appropriate area of specialization if applicable. One (1) - two (2) years of experience in interdisciplinary collaboration. Academic teaching experience in a medical setting Demonstrated leadership and productivity in the areas of scholarly activity, medical research, or education Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration Final applicant will be required to pass background check and drug screening.
