Job Description:
As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys in various legal matters, conducting research, and providing administrative support to ensure our clients receive the highest quality legal services. Key Responsibilities of a Family Law Paralegal:
* Excellent customer service - as you will be dealing with families and difficult times for them.
* Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
* Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
* Organize and maintain legal files and documentation.
* Assist in case management and trial preparation.
* Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.
* Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
* Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to our practice areas.
* Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and managing attorney calendars.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience
* Family Law experience
* Proven experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
* Strong research and writing skills.
* Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the practice area(s) of the firm.
