Field Automation Technican

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Field Automation Technician in the Raliegh NC area
This is a long term position Duties:
• Coordinate with project electricians, as well as, conduct pre-installation kick-off meetings.
• Trouble shooting via phone/on site, start-up/commissioning
• Simulate, test, and debug control systems on and off site
• Assist with installation of new equipment
• Repair equipment to in field conditions
• Assemble accurate reports after job completion and on equipment operation
• Train customers and operators on Morris equipment Requirements:
• Proficient in Rockwell Automation software (FactoryTalk View ME, RSLinx, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000,)
• Familiarity with Mitsubishi HMI and PLC hardware and software
• Experience with multiphase electrical circuits
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and maintain bearing during stressful events
• Interpret electrical schematics
• Must be able to work without direct supervision
• Must past drug screen and background check
• Experience with programing VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives), Allen-Bradley & Mitsubishi.
