Field Engineer

Field Engineer I The purpose of the Field Engineer is to support electro-mechanical repair work in the shop and in the field. Field engineers are on-site technicians who install, diagnose, and repair equipment. This job involves managing resources for field work, applying theories to address problems, writing reports to outline issues and solutions, and working with clients to provide feedback and make recommendations. Field engineers usually work most of their time at the customer's site. Field engineers are critical thinkers with strong communication and customer service skills.
Reporting The Field Engineer I will report to the Equipment Repair Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projects.Update supervisor on all projects to ensure teamwork.Carry out research to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions.Participate in training to stay current in the field.Oversee the maintenance of different types of equipment and infrastructure related to their industry.Install new and advanced technologies per the requirements of the research team and the needs of employees.Troubleshoot alarms, failures, excursions, or anything else that may arise.Maintain detailed reports of their work that are distributed to the service team, supervisor, and customer.Be a representative of PAI in the field.Perform all other tasks as requested by your supervisor.Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Grade 2I Wastewater License. Must be technically solid in 4/20 ma input/output function, PLCs, basic electrical, pumps, motors, valves, piping, relays, basic logic, P&ID control, and mechanical skills.
