The Finance SAP Project User in this contract opening in Columbus, OH is responsible for testing and validating the functionality of SAP financial management modules and applications within the organization.
The Finance SAP Project User works closely with the finance team, IT department, and project management to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP-based financial solutions.
Hybrid Work: 3 days per week required.Candidates must be local to the worksite location OR surrounding area Main Responsibilities: Collaborate with the finance team and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements and ensure the SAP system is configured to meet thoseParticipate in the design and implementation of new SAP financial features or modulesProvide support to other finance users on the effective use of SAP for financial managementIdentify and report any issues or errors within the SAP financial modules, and work with the Project team to resolve Assist in the implementation and rollout of new SAP financial features or modulesServe as a point of contact for finance-related SAP inquiries and supportExecute comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality of SAP financial modules, configurations, and integrationsPerform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT on SAP financial systemsIdentify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing, and work with the IT and development teams to resolve themServe as a liaison between the subject matter experts and the IT department, effectively communicating testing results and requirementsSupport on developing training materials and sessions to finance end-users on the proper use of SAP financial modules Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field3-5years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with exposure to SAPThorough understanding of financial accounting principles and practicesProficiency in using SAP financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset managementFamiliarity with SAP reporting and business intelligence toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience in providing end-user training and support is preferred Hours of Operation: M-F, 8-5PM
Hybrid Work: 3 days per week required in Columbus, Ohio
Hybrid schedule (3 days in office & 2 days WFH)
