Financial Controller

Overview of the Roles and Responsibilities: Our financial controller is a member of the executive leadership team reporting to our VP of Finance. This position collaborates with the VP of Finance to create yearly financial objectives aligning with the company's growth plan. The controller oversees functions, ensures compliance, and mitigates risks.
Job Duties: The financial controller prepares financial reports, assists in compliance audits, and monitors internal controls. They support the VP of Finance in financial strategy, decision-making, and identifying efficiencies. Responsibilities include assessing financial performance, providing recommendations, implementing systems, acquiring funding, and improving department processes for efficiency.
Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting: The controller reviews monthly financial results, develops and maintains budgets, and presents financial reports.
Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations: They prepare financial statements, ensure compliance, work with HR for legal compliance, review internal controls, and manage month-end closing activities.
Financial Management: Responsibilities include cash flow management, maintaining banking relationships, providing financial insight, managing accounts payable/receivable, and overseeing payroll.
Financial Relations and Policies: The controller engages in financial planning, represents the company to stakeholders, stays current on audit practices and laws, and contributes to finance technology implementation.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred, 6+ years as a Financial Controller, 10+ years in accounting/finance, strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting, experience in a Contact Center Environment, exceptional communication, leadership, analytical skills, and collaboration experience with auditors.
