Financial Director

We are in search of a Director of Finance to join us in Appleton, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. This position resides in the telecom industry, and is a permanent role. Responsibilities: • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for use by management and outside entities. • Manage the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies. • Oversee budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, to monitor progress and present operational metrics. • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes. • Drive the company's financial planning and performance by analyzing its performance and risks. • Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems. • Oversee the company's finance IT system to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures. • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives. • Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts. Requirements: • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Prior experience in Auditing • Capable of managing Budget Processes • Proficient in Capital Management • Able to perform Cash Flow Analysis • Experience in Financial Operations • Ability to prepare Financial Statements • Knowledge of Grant Accounting and Grant Management • Strategic Planning skills • Competence in Financial Analysis
