Job Summary:
As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you'll play a vital role in our Corporate Accounting team, reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting. You'll contribute to the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, handling tasks like journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and balance sheet fluctuation analysis. Your responsibilities will also include preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and supporting special projects and ad hoc reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Handle journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly board of director materials.
- Analyze balance sheet fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Support special projects, including financial system implementation and upgrades.
- Provide additional ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong drive and ambition with a desire for career advancement.
- Solid accounting/finance knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; consideration given to those pursuing their degree. Progress towards CPA licensure is a plus.
- 1 to 2 years of accounting experience required.
- Detail-oriented with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, nVision reporting tool, or Workiva financial reporting software is advantageous.
- Experience with external audits and/or SOX compliance preferred.
- Self-starter with a commitment to excellence, capable of building strong relationships and thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Service-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Track record of successfully completing accounting guidance-related projects.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Expected Total Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,275.00

At the company, we offer a hybrid work environment where employees within 50 miles of the Broomfield office work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
