Job Title: Financial Services Litigation Attorney at AmLaw 200 Firm in White Plains Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Services Litigation Attorney for our AmLaw 200 law firm in White Plains. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial services litigation, with at least 5 years of experience representing financial institutions and mortgage servicers in real property matters. Knowledge of class action litigation and court experience would be considered a plus. Responsibilities: • Manage and work on a variety of financial services litigation matters, including real property disputes, class action litigation, and regulatory investigations • Conduct depositions and oral arguments • Independently manage multiple matters on an ongoing basis, while also collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams • Draft necessary pleadings, motions, and briefs • Advise clients on legal matters Requirements: • At least 5 years of experience in financial services litigation • Admission to the New York bar is required, and admission in Connecticut is preferred, but not required • Excellent academic credentials, accompanied by strong writing and research skills • Demonstrated oral advocacy skills, including experience with depositions and oral arguments • Enthusiastic work attitude, with a willingness to proactively work independently, as well as part of a team • The ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously • Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of class action litigation and court experience Benefits: They offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes generous PTO and holiday schedules, medical/vision/dental insurance, a hybrid work schedule, commuter benefits, paid parental leave, and a 401k plan.
