FLOORING ESTIMATOR
Job Title: Flooring Estimator
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Flooring Estimator to join our team. The Flooring Estimator will accurately estimate costs and materials for flooring projects, collaborating with sales, project management, and installation teams.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements.
-Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client needs.
-Utilize industry software and tools to generate precise and competitive estimates, considering factors such as labor, materials, and additional services.
-Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability information.
-Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements accurately.
-Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, and proposals.
-Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
-Stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or similar role in the flooring industry.
-Strong knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
-Proficiency in using estimation software and tools to generate accurate estimates.
-Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to calculate measurements, quantities, and costs.
-Solid understanding of construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and architectural plans.
-Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
-Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
